Learn My Lesson by Katee Robert

I loved the concept of this series and a Hades retelling story is one of my favorites. So although I went into this series with high expectations, I also went in willing to be open and forgive a lot. This book was the one I was looking forward to and reading the first one was just to get to this one. I think I actually enjoyed this one less than the first and that had some huge issues for me. Even with this I was engaged and it prompted feelings. This didn't have the issues I experienced with the first, but it was boring for me. It was meh/OK. I found I didn't care for any of the characters and I had no interest in the rest of the plot. I'm really glad that I only bought the first two and did not waste my money on the full series. I would possibly continue reading if it was free on Kindle Unlimited but I won't be purchasing any more in the series. I would suggest the below for 'darker' themed smutty books instead: M/M Smut anything by S.A.Payne, The Bent series by Sean Michael, Power exchange by A.J Rose for M/F Smut Filthy Vows by Alessandra Torre, Alpha by Jasinda Wilder, The Divorce by Nicole Strycharz or Tempting Monsters by Kathryn Moon
