This book is a shrug. I get that it's supposed to rely very heavily on rom com references but boy howdy is it too much. And it's also the SAME ones on repeat.
I don't get the chemistry between the two leads. Annie (FL) is a Mary Sue and has no real flaws and I don't relate to her at all.
Also the end was too cheesy for me BUT it should have been so that's not a demerit on the book. However, two weeks is too short: 1) the dreaded I love you. Ew. 2) a movie?! Two weeks to shoot a movie and on ONE city block?! No. That's not how film works.
I may read the Chloe/Nick story but I'm not clamoring for it.
