Another fun little addition to the Appeal! It was great to return to the characters we know and love from the original book with a few new additions too (and some surprise returns towards the end), and the festive vibes were great too.

For me it felt like it finished a little abruptly without much opportunity to weigh up different options for what had happened, which was something I’d enjoyed from The Appeal. However, obviously this was a much shorter book and just a spin off really so there was only so much opportunity for this. 

I read it all in one sitting so there’s definitely something to be said for it, just not quite at the same level as The Appeal. But a fun, quick festive read.
