Kindling by Bonnie Woods

Cute, funny, and cozy. I had such a good time reading this book. Harper  is a gorgeous, plus-size, aspiring novelist who is super relatable. Fraser is big, grumpy, Scottish lumberjack who just wants to be left alone to work and care for his mum, sisters, and niblings. Harper’s gets to her Airbnb, where she planned to write her novel, and finds it flooded. Her unhelpful host leaves her high and dry and sends her off into the woods to find the path to town, where she finds Fraser who reluctantly helps her. This is a really sweet and funny story about rediscovering your own voice after so many others’ words have shut you down.
