In the beginning of Xander’s journey as a new single dad to baby Man (Maximus Alexander Northcott), a chance run-in with Angel changes all of their lives for the better. This was soft and fluffy but well-developed. The only downsides were how in-depth it got delving into the culinary aspect and that Emmaline’s character seemed like a one-dimensional villain instead of realistic competition.
