all hail leigh bardugo for reminding me why i love YA fantasy novels so much. while the actual storyline is quite simple, i thoroughly enjoyed getting to know Alina’s character and her relationship with her power.

i could not put this book down and was glad that i didn’t. when i finished, i NEEDED to know what happened next!

pls read this before you watch the netflix series, trust me. while ben barnes really made the show for me, the book series is far better!
