My bookish discord group had been raving and raving about this one, so as soon as it came out, I paused my other book (a reread) and listened to this. I'm so glad I listened to the audiobook! Adrienne Young is on my auto buy list, no matter what she writes these days. This book enthralled me. The family curse was so interesting and mysterious, and the time travel element was such a unique twist. I thought it would go one way, but instead it went another way, and I was so, so satisfied by the end. I think my only wish (it's not even a complaint) is that we could have had more of the end game pairing, but I also understand that the story was more about the FMC and her family and that element. I have the physical book as well, but I thought the narrator did such a spectacular job with this book. Ugh. SO GOOD.
