I did not think I would like it as much as I did! The story follows Winston who is working for the Party, rewriting history for the Ministry of Truth. It was very interesting to see the world he lives in through his eyes, while his beliefs of the Party are in a constant change throughout the story. The story went places I didn't see coming and I enjoyed the pacing of it. I would have liked to see a little more of two characters together but it was fine either way.
 The book is old and you definitely see it in the written text. As a not English native speaker it took some time for me to get an understanding of the story and characters. I had to read paragraphs twice or thrice sometimes. Nevertheless I enjoyed this book a lot and I think it is a classic everyone should read! I found the ending to be very sad and dark but it was just what I had expected. 1984 makes me want to read more classics in the future!
