Age Gap is a favorite trope of mine and Best Friend’s Father is a spin on it I enjoy.

I’ve been trying out new-to-me authors on KoboPlus and came across Father of the Groom.

I liked the flirty banter between Stella and Mr. Chambers. It was sexy and I liked the twist of a one night stand with her best friend’s dad becoming more. This is a short novella so things are at breakneck speed – but it worked fairly well.

It definitely ends on a cliffhanger with there being at least 4 more shorts to the story.

Unfortunately the blurb for book 2 is that she’s going to sleep around to see if she wants to marry Alan (Mr. Chambers) and I don’t enjoy that direction. So I’m stopping here.
