The Accomplice by Steve Cavanagh
mysterious
medium-paced
- Plot- or character-driven? Character
5.0
As a huge fan of Eddie Flynn series I want to thank the publisher for giving me access to read The Accomplice early! As every previous book, this was also really clever, engaging and funny!
I love Steve's writing and I couldn't miss another meeting with my favourite lawyer! Although the author broke not just Eddie's heart but also mine in the previous book...
Imagine what would happen if your husband was a serial killer? The Accomplice takes us to Carrie Miller's trial, a woman who's been accused of being her husband's accomplice in series of murders. She swears her innocence, yet she's going to face the jury. In the last moments before the trial, her lawyer became a prosecution's witness and he can't defend her anymore. Luckily Eddie and his team agree to help her.
The book is full of plot twists, smart solutions and it's really well written!
I enjoy reading the cross examination done by Eddie's team - it's always so brilliant and often funny too!
Definitely a must-read!
