Ugh ugh ugh ugh I loved this book. I’m a sucker for Classics and for retellings of epic stories, and this one DELIVERED. These characters were so fully fleshed out, their love blossomed off the page in such a heartbreaking and stunning way. There’s that added layer of knowing how things will turn out (no spoilers here, I guess) that adds so much depth to an already rich tapestry of themes and character building that Miller has crafted here. I think I might have to reread Circe and find other similar titles because WOW I’m going to want to stay here for just a bit longer.
