I read the reviews to make sure I didn’t miss anything, and relieved to find that others were confused to at the lack of what actually happened in this book. I heard such great things about this story, but found it extremely dull, and the author stretching to write a profound story; littered with extreme-not needed metaphors, and conversations/lines people rarely use in actual conversations.
I’m guessing the author intended to leave things as mysterious, but the tone of the book, and how the main characters acted throughout, suggested we would receive answers in the end.
We’re supposed to be sad at the end, but I didn’t really care enough for the characters to even feel feelings towards them, and I am an easier crier.
I gave it a two instead of a one because my curiosity was peaked from time to time.
