I loved Pride & Prejudice and have looked forward to reading Persuasion for years, but I couldn’t focus in print or audio format to follow this story. This may be one of the few times where I might like the movie adaptation better (that’s still tbd).

The narrator for the audio edition I chose to listen to had a soothing and comforting voice making it an enjoyable experience for the ears, even if I had no idea what was going on in the plot.
