This was okay—mildly interesting and heart wrenching at times. I enjoyed the alternating POVs and timelines with a glimpse back in time.
I also enjoyed a look into true perseverance and tenacity—this was an inspirational tale.
Alternating timelines.
CSA.
Adventure.
History—based on truth.
Mystery.
Female ‘cop’ underdog.
Nature.
What could’ve been done better:
I couldn’t help but notice the people in both times, nearly a century apart, had the same manner of speaking and the same favored phrases, etc. This obviously is poor continuity, and maybe a bit of lazy writing.
