Need time to process but: beautiful, made me cry more than once, grief, love, magical realism. Incredible, I loved it! This book feels nostalgic, hopeful, melancholy, deeply sad, full of joy all at different times but overall was wonderful. Poston's writing flows and descriptions are poetic. Loved the crossovers from The Dead Romantics (need to read that again cuz it's been a while but I maybe love this one even more than I remember living that one, which was a lot). Certain plot points I saw coming from a mile away but was excited to see how they played out and one was very shocking (TW: suicide of a character off page in the past). 

"The moon was round and large, framed perfectly between the buildings like the main character in her own film, reflecting off the windows, cascading silvery light into the warm orange of streetlights." I mean....
