I don't even know what to say about this story. Jas and Wendy are perfect, the Peter Pan details and influences woven throughout are perfect (so fun to try and spot them all as I read), and I want to visit Never Harbour like yesterday. The family is boisterous and inviting, there is an adorable kid with a loveable dog, and the inclusion of grief for lost friends was very well done, in my opinion. Pretty much read it in one sitting, got a phone call at exactly 50% of the way through right when things were heating up!. The slow burn was a good pace for a novel this length and their connection when we got to the saucy scenes was hot. So excited to see where the series goes and whether my guesses for the remaining pairings end up being right!
