Aisha chickened out on telling her crush (Kwame) how she felt in college, but they’re reunited 16 years later after each of them stops chasing ghosts–literally and figuratively. This started off slow, and while I rolled my eyes at the restaurant run-in scene, my feelings for this book softened with the recreation of the library scene. My first read from this author, and I was surprised at the spiciness!
