2.5/5 — quick read but it lacked depth!

i feel like it was definitely more philosophical than traditional horror novels, but it didn’t stay with me as much as i think it could’ve. i love the discussion of how life is meaningful because it’s finite, and i liked how this book touched on that, but i still think it could’ve been better. the writing style made sense, and i liked how quick of a read it was, but i think i’d have to really read into it in order to glean some deeper meaning. very surface level stuff.
