I looooved the start of this book so much — the grumpy-grumpy vibe and that both mcs knew each other their entire lives but didn’t know each other but hated each other nonetheless. I assumed I’d eat it up. And whereas I still did eat it up the pregnancy trope I just don’t think I ate up as much as I have in other stories with the same trope. I loved Red/Chase and Cassidy though and watching them get to know each other was so special but there was some point in this book where I knew what was gonna happen next and I think I got bored and it felt like a chore to finish the read…I’m really excited for the third book in the series which is due to come out later this month!
