I am sad it is over. I really enjoyed the journey both Katy and Daemon go through. The author as a way with words when she can keep me interested in all 5 books. I can't remember the last time I binged a series like this.
This book had some highs and lows and it was slow in some parts but overall I can’t complain. I loved Kat, she is one heck of a chick. Not only does she not let Daemon get away with anything. But she has a way about her that you can’t help but admire.
She doubts herself but when push comes to shove she know what to say and how to say it in a way that everyone likes her and looks at the situation differently.
Daemon really because “humanized” he learned to let his feelings show and if that wasn’t hella sexy I don’t know what is because you wouldn’t have thought he would even grow to be like that from book one.
Some pretty crazy stuff goes down in this book and I can’t say that it doesn’t keep you on the edge of your seat. Dee and Archer also have some big issues to overcome. Luke is a character I grew to like and his story for me doesn’t feel finished. Maybe one day we will get an update.
I again loved the dual narration for this book as I did the last. Again I think Justine’s voice is a little old sounding for teenagers but once you get used to it you don’t even notice it anymore. And Rob well what can I say he is Daemon through and through for me.
*You don't have to like my review but its 100% my opinion, and I am allowed to have it.*
