I enjoy Tom's comedy and have watched him on a number of programmes, the latest of which is the Bakeoff Extra show. I thought this was probably an honest portrayal and I could hear Tom's voice as I was reading this. I did get a little frustrated at Tom's reluctant attitude to life but I also understand it. It was nice to read an autobiography after the run of crime fiction that I've had. I would recommend this book if you like Tom's comedy but I didn't find it funny, if that's what you're after.
