Re-reading this for the first time in years was super nostalgic, and I honestly love this series. The dynamic of the Baudelaire siblings was something I really enjoyed, and it was a really fast read. The twist at the end was really clever, and this book was great at establishing the characters and plots for the books to follow in the series. Count Olaf was an absolute prick, and I think that everyone has a shared hatred for him. One of my favourite middle grade books, and so nostalgic!
