Take Her to the Grave by Dana LeeAnn

dark fast-paced

4.5

“The dark will welcome you.”
“My queen. My equal. My Shadow-Kissed love. My forever.”
“The hunt is half the pleasure, after all.”
“Are you ready to step out of your fiction and into truth?”
“Please stop? Please continue? What do you really want, little ghost?”

Fast-paced, dark, gothic paranormal romance novella.

The connection between the FMC, Elena, and the MMC, Torrin, was well written, and you could really feel the pull between the characters from the first pages.

I liked how Elena learned and discovered more about herself throughout the story and how her self-discovery, and learning about the darkness reflected in her writing. She needed to embrace the darkness before she was ready to live in the shadows.

Torrin was protective of Elena and surprisingly sweet. I liked how he wanted Elena to choose instead of forcing her into anything.

Loved the eerie atmosphere and feeling of the book. Great, short spooky season read.

I received an ARC of this book and I am voluntarily leaving a review. Receiving ARC didn’t affect my opinion of the book.
