I've tried to get into Sophie Larks writing but I think I'm done at this point. This series was promising but I'm just really not a fan of this writing style. I like dark romances, enemies to lovers, and slow burn with lots of tension. The two characters didn't even meet until half way through the book! Where's the tension in that? And once they do meet, the second encounter they get together...ahhh no thanks there's just no tension at all. Her writing is the complete opposite of my interests so unfortunately I DNF'D my first ever book. No hate at all but I think I need to stop reading Sophie's books, I just like much darker romances with much more tension! Funny as it is, this series is just too boring and light hearted.
