Jumbled thoughts incoming…

This book was ….. easy. Easy to read, easy to follow, easy to understand. And the characters seemed to have it easy too on the way to their HEA. Yes there was some mild Miscommunication and doubts. But overall the 3 characters acted with maturity and emotional intelligence. Near the end, I was thinking it was too easy…..waiting for the other shoe to drop. But it never did. Of course, the Langfield family is super understanding and welcoming. And Beckett just needs to be a matchmaker for everyone. The final few Chapters over Christmas Eve really do paint an idyllic ending to their beginning.

And can we talk about how unspeakably hot this book is??? It helped that Declan was written in such a way that once he decided he was in for Cade, there was no hesitancy at all.

Melina seemed to fall for Cade instantly. Declan took a bit more time. But once he was her protector and savior from the worst person alive, their emotional intimacy grew. And through this all, her musical voice returned. And she found her family and her home.

The Langfield world continues to grow. Looking forward to War’s story next!

Thanks so much to the author and the author agency for the opportunity to read in advance of publication.
