I find the first part of this duology intriguing. The story is beautifully written with vivid descriptions. I found myself easily picturing the world I was immersing myself in. The pace was a bit slow for me but overall very well locked and easy to follow. There were a few dull moments in the plot but they played an important part in moving the story forward. I’m looking forward to seeing how the series wraps up in the next book.
