Given that this is the first book of a trilogy, it almost feels like the end here could’ve been the actual ending and that there’s no need for 2 other books. I would have loved if the ending felt more high stakes and left off on a more intriguing cliff hanger. It was good, but I don’t know if I’m interested enough to continue the series.
