This book picks up exactly where the last book/movie ended. However, if you are expecting it to give any definitive answers to the ending of the original, you are looking in the wrong place. This is more a visual illustration of the author coming to grips with the monster that he had created. A book that was designed to be a critique on spending and masculinity, made real-life Fight Clubs where people died and him constantly being badgered about answers for a book that was never supposed to have one. It is a deliciously violent and poetic look at what makes Fight Club so memorable, and how it got taken so out of context.
