“We are one. We are mind, body, and soul. You are mine.”
“My beautiful Savage, my queen of the crazy.”
“I guess you can say we are as stable as a fucking earthquake.”
“Silly boy. Doesn’t he know black hides the blood?”
“We are two parts of the same depraved soul. Never to be separated, even after death.”
This book was amazing the first time I read it and it was even better the second time.

This book is full of unhinged craziness and I loved it. Iris and Jasper are my favorite twins. Iris being the impulsive and dramatic one, kind of reminded me of Harley Quinn. Jasper, on the other hand, is more level-headed and calculating, but not any less bloodthirsty. The bond between the twins was really strong and it was evident how much they cared about each other.
I love Sutton Asylum as a setting for the story. There were many interesting characters, like Mr H., I would love to learn more about. And I can’t wait to dive into Dexy’s story next. He’s a sweet little boy with a difficult and dark past.
Overall a fun, fast-paced and spicy read. Please check the trigger warnings before reading!
