I LOVED the hero in this book, he is so swoony and he's the embodiment of "if he wanted he would". At the same time, he is not just a nice guy, he is a very layered character, and his storyline in this book revolving around his family is so complicated and I was invested. There's a scene in this book with his mom that made me cry and I'm not someone who cries easily with books.

I also liked the heroine, even if she was a bit frustrating at times, but I found it easy to understand her due to all the childhood trauma she has. The character arc she goes through is very powerful, and I loved seeing her journey. Also, I was not expecting the revealed at the end.

The romance was so cute, the main characters had so much chemistry and I loved to see a relationship built on honesty. There's great banter, inside jokes and also the pre and post-date questionnaires were so cute.
