I first happened upon this story watching an old black and white Mickey Mouse feature in Netflix. The irony of Mickey being a Mouse who got rid of rats in a town was not lost on me. 😉

This version is obviously much more classic and Kate Greenway’s gorgeous wood cutouts are the perfect touch to this wonderful story of the most extraordinary exterminator. If only it could be that pleasant in real life.
