Breaking Free and finding happy
First off I absolutely love this duet. I'm more on the nerdy side and it was fun seeing these nerds grow and change.
This book starts right where the first ended. Amelia is feeling a lot of things and she needs to escape. However, that escape lands her back home with her controlling family. She wanted to be there for her brother but getting time with him is a struggle.
When Oliver, Misha and Grey wake to find Amelia missing they are immediately freaking out as can be expected. They do not know what changed while they had slept.
As the men continue trying to find out who broke into Amelia's home and stole her AR tech. However, even more importantly they need to win back their girl. Realizing she ran back to a place she hated makes them hate how everything has gone down. So they find themselves taking a vacation.
Amelia is immediately thrown back I to the chaos of her mother's controlling nature. She is being forced to change back into that perfect daughter who never spoke up. Except she finds that even broken hearted she still wants to fight but she isn't sure she can. When her men show up unannounced at her parents door she is torn between wanting to work things out and second guessing everything.
Will these men be able to earn forgiveness? Will Amelia give into her parents for the sake of her brother? Will they discover who stole her project and be able to get it back?
All of the characters continue to grow immensely in this story and I loved every moment of it.
Fantastic job Blake.
