Horrific and Beautiful. This is the first work I’ve read from the author and I’m already a big fan. It’s a wonderfully told epic fantasy story filled with the most imaginative horror scenes I’ve ever experienced. It’s incredibly dark, but it also does not shy away from the light. The 3 main characters are the main driving force of the story, and I found myself easily attached to them. I can’t see myself forgetting about the story and characters anytime soon. I can’t recommend it enough for fans of Dark Fantasy, Horror, and Historical/Religious Fiction.
Berserk, Dark Souls, and the like. You know Irina and Morne in DS3? This is as if they had a book written about them.
