Loved this beautiful memoir of the author’s childhood in Cuba. It is full of heartwarming, sometimes funny stories that invite the reader into her memories. Here one will meet her family members and various people in her community, as well as get to experience events that impacted her childhood. I especially recommend the audiobook read by Trini Alvarado. It’s so well done!
