I was expecting more of a romantic plot with this book and I wasn’t totally let down because it does deal with romantic themes and it deals with them very well. I loved the aspect of it switching through different times in the main characters life and switching up who the narrator was through different chapters, especially since it was done well and easy to follow.
Reread:
I reread this book to prepare myself for Hellbent, and I liked it WAY more. I first read it when I was like 16 and obsessed with romance books, which is why I think I originally makes this one as a 3.75, but now that I’m 21 and have diversified my reading, I loved it.
OG- 3.75 ⭐️
