The Game Changer by J. Sterling

3.0

Ten Things That Were Good (and Bad) About The Game Changer

Good
1. Jack's explanation of everything that had happened on his side of the story since he had last seen Cassie. This really helped me get into Jack's mindset and understand him more. Jack really started to make it up to us here.
2. Matteo! I'd really like a book just about Matteo and his large Italian family and Trina.
3. The MLB inner drama! I didn't know that there is a hierarchy with the player's wives, but it doesn't surprise me. Also, Trina is an awesome side character!
4. Just Jack. He totally redeems himself in this one.
5. Gram and Gramp's advice to Cassie:
“What matters the most is who you love. Because when everything else is a distant memory, the people you love are all that’s left. And love is the single most important thing we can do in our lives. Give it. Receive it. Teach others how to do it"- Gran
“Love is life. If you miss out on love, you miss out on life"- Gramps

Bad
1. The fake-out love triangle. Really, J. Sterling? Just let them be happy!
2. Cassie being so wish-washy. Not enjoying that. She needs to either decide she loves Jack and is willing to be with him and whatever that entails.
3. Crystal. Just, Crystal. What a freaking shrew!
4. The recap went on a little too long.
5. Unnecessary drama.
