Hoooo boy. This isn’t a typical erotic romance. Meaning that each book of the series is still exploring the same 6 characters and mysteries of thornchapel. Even though this book is A LOT, it’s plot and story are intriguing. All the characters are intriguing and diverse in all the ways you can imagine diversity. And Thornchapel itself is a character. You want to learn it’s secrets. Why it has such a hold on 2 generations plus more. Sierra Simone is such a gifted author. Her writing is just so beautiful and sets the dark mysterious mood so well. It’s just 6 friends vibing in an old library in a man our house and deciding to try their hands at ritualistic sex for something to do. I mean, their parents did 12 y earlier so why not them now???
Looking forward to the next book to learn more of the mysteries, and especially the history with Auden and saint.
