Babel is a book that teaches you like a nonfiction book but entertains you like your favorite fantasy thriller. Babel uses its rich characters and gorgeous settings to guide you through concepts like colonialism, academia, and the need for violence. Follow a group of four friends as they enjoy the height of academia and slowly begin to see the violence and colonialism that grants them these luxuries. They all must choose whether to fight for an uncertain future or stay in academic comfort and remain complicit. Heartbreaking and hopeful, Babel serves as a reminder to act upon injustices that you do not want to see.
