No, I don't know what I read and I don't care what was the background about simply because it was messy.
It was supposed to be a dark book but the mafia plot just confused me with the never-ending characters and their pasts that are intertwined. A little bit of broken bones and brains that were spilled out does not mean it is a dark romance. Honestly, a big disappointment.
