reread 2024:

it’s such a wonderful story- mostly about trying to figure out… well life i guess. trying to find purpose and trying to find something to do what feels right and fitting.

it’s very well written and even though it’s clearly a offering world to ours it’s still extremely relatable and nicely done.

this entire story is filled with beautiful quotes and so nicely worded that i don’t think anyone can come away from this book and not have found at least one little snippet that has been said in it that resonated with them in some way.

i highly recommend Chambers works overall but this little novella duology/series? especially.

it’s heart warming but also sad in some moments, realistic but dreamy, otherworldly but so down to earth… it shouldn’t work so well as it does and be able to do as much as it does but Chambers managed it!

highly recommend!

2021 read:
beautiful story, great talk about life, meaning and purpose and a wonderful friendship.

written -as always- wonderfully.

i listend to the audiobook, which was done very well in my opinion.
