I read this after reading Wings So Soft and The Delve and it was pure joy meeting characters from both books again. I enjoyed seeing what followed with Cloti, Aefin, and Ludo after they stayed behind in their city. The bravery of (all) the characters in the midst of the occupation/war with the humans is highlighted through the whole book. PLUS this story is filled with so much tender lovemaking 🫶🏻 I just love a good fantasy world and Dani’s is definitely one of my favorites.
