Blackout is a great quick read. The story focuses on several characters all stuck in a blackout in NYC. Each chapter follows a different character in the story. All the characters have some sort of relationship "problem" that is working to be resolved. Even though this book is written by many different authors, the story flows without hiccups. This was obviously a collaborative effort. While I read mostly YA, this was very beach read to me, but I would 100% recommend it to the teens in my life.
