Fate by AJ Alexander, Andi Jaxon

5.0

Fate is the third book in the series and it's about finding love when least expected even with a big gap age between the characters
I really don't like big gap age in my reads but this book just took my to another level and I have to say it's my favorite.

Jimmy and Emma meet at a BBQ party and although he feels attracted by her she is the little sister of one of his friends and colleagues in the SEAL team.Retired and a bar owner, he gets a phone call from an unknow number and even if it's late and he doesn't know her,he gets to save her from her own mistakes and keeps her safe because he will always be the hero, the knight who saves any mistress in distress. Emma is just a young woman who tries to make a life for herself but always takes the wrong decisions and ends up in the worst situation ever in her life. While she recovers from her latest mistake,we get o see the Tornado sisters and Katie again and how they become friends.
It's a story full of angst and there are triggers for violence and abuse, but also a love story that overcomes anything and everything, including all the differences between such characters.
