One book, sooooo many feels!! If you've ever wondered what life was like during the Ceaușescu era, this book is an incredibly raw and true depiction of regular life during those rough communist times. This is one of those books that scrambles the brain and won't let you go. Sophie van Llewyn's depiction of life in communist Romania is honest, brutal, but at times light-hearted and funny. I thank her for writing it.
