Little House in the Big Woods by Laura Ingalls Wilder

5.0

Rereading through this series with my kids during the Corona Virus-19 home days had me connecting with the story in a new way. I had forgotten about Laura and her family visiting town for the first time as kids. Granted, the seclusion we feel while stuck in our homes is different than what the Ingalls were used to but we have much to he grateful for. Reading through the way food was hunted, prepared, stored and eaten was interesting. I don't remember those scenes being discriptive before. Anyway, thankful for what my family and I have while we are tucked away in our homes and glad we can be in our yards away from bears and wolves as well.
