Grace & Style: The Art of Pretending You Have It by Grace Helbig

2.0

I took a long time to read this one, I started somewhere in April and well it just lay there not being read. That probably already says a lot (though not really I leave lots of books laying around for like a year that I end up loving but let's not get into that.)

Look, to say it quick and easy, I only liked the introduction. Which was about the first 20 pages in the book and I didn't like the rest.

I was very annoyed with the sweatpants diaries, I just did not care, it was cringy and poorly written and to be fair, why was it even there?

Looking back at this I didn't know what I expected but it clearly wasn't this. The thing is I really like Grace's videos and was convinced she could translate it to a book, in my opinion, she can't, the wittiness I usually laugh about when watching her videos did not translate AT ALL in this book and it was just annoying, boring and a bit not good.

So to summarise, I love Grace, but her book writing not so much.
