This book was like the drugs you're warned about as a kid — all bright pastel colours and smiley faces, but you really shouldn't try them. I was very close to dnf'ing this book but fought my way through it; I did like the vibes a lot, but the hallucinogenic atmosphere didn't really help with the rest of the story. I would probably have liked it more had it just been about Samantha with the bunnies, and the character of Ava didn't exist; the 'bestie' relationship of S and A never felt genuine to me.
