Blood Orange by Harriet Tyce
3.0
Book title: Blood Orange
Author: Harriet Tyce
Part of a series? No
Format: Audio
Rating: 3/5
My thoughts:
Blood Orange by Harriet Tyce is a psychological thriller that follows Alison as she navigates her complex personal and professional relationships. While I found it relatively engaging and interesting, I can't say it's the best novel I've ever read.
The writing style is fairly easy to read, with Tyce using a combination of dialogue and narrative to keep the reader engaged throughout. The characters are not overly likeable but are crafted well and mostly believable, and the story progresses at a decent enough pace.
My overall impression of Blood Orange by Harriet Tyce was that it was just okay. While it was an interesting mystery/thriller, I thought some of the plot lines were filler-like and didn't really add much to the overall story. There were some great plot twists and suspense moments, but some of it didn’t grab me. In the end, it's an easy read that will keep you entertained and engaged, but it's not the most original or gripping story.
