This totally drew me in, our FMC Carly moves back to her childhood home, the small towns folk seem trepidations and at odds with her. One night she encounters our MMC Grayson, doing something nefarious, instead of running quietly away Carly is routed to the spot, intent on watching. This simple act causes a cascade of events to flow over her life.
Grayson claims her as his own, in a carnal animalistic way πΆοΈ Carly is attempting to keep herself afloat after this, leading her to seek answers to secrets. Which just opens a whole new can of worms, on which the whole town is connected with.
The story continues into a dark pit of experiments and sub-humans, from this pit violence, g0re, bl00d and deleting leak out into the very bones of the town. Consequences arise due to these experiments and letβs just say the outcome is not a pleasant ordeal for those involved.
I was instantly drawn into this story, for me it was something a little different from my usual dark read and I enjoyed that element of it, besides Grayson that is π€£π€£
