Starting with what bothered me: in the last chapter of part 'XI - 1972 - The Keepers of the Deep-Sea Light' was a detail that to me could've needed to be explained better.
Otherwise I adored the rest of the book - it gave a beautiful nostalgic atmosphere; if I wasn't so curious to find out what happened to the lightkeepers, I would've wished it had more pages. My favorite chapters were the ones revolving around Arthur; they have a romantic, melancholic way to them. They spoke to me, as they felt the most sensible.
It's one of my favorite books now. ♡
